We are excited to announce we are 3 days away from kicking of Elle Science Bloggers.

Elle Science: After a conversation with Ana Ibarra, Estefania Palacios and Natalie Hoyt of personal inspiring stories; we agreed it would be of great benefit to write a series of short stories and compile them into a book. This idea stayed in the back of my mind until I conversed with Joanna Flores, Soledad Zamora, Katia Nava, Roxana Ramos at 2013 SACNAS conference in San Antonio where the idea of starting a blog emerged. A couple months later, here we are, getting ready to share our personal experiences as women in the sciences and as women seeking to make a positive contribution to society. My name is Azucena Yzquierdo, former Hartnell College Alumni like the majority of the women. Together we form Elle Science. Follow our blog to learn of where we are presently attending school, academic experiences, join our network and our journey to becoming professionals in the science.
